Cookies are created on your hard drive as you are surfing the web, they contain information that are specific for the corresponding website. Privacy Mantra will clean the cookies index.dat file as well. Read about the Cookie index.dat.

Manual clean instructions

1. This does *NOT* clean the index.dat files.
a. Click ‘Tools’ in the Internet Explorer menu bar.
b. Choose ‘Internet Options’.
c. In the ‘General’ tab in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section, click ‘ ‘Delete Cookies’.
d. Click ‘Ok’.
e. Click ‘Ok’.
