As you surf the web a history record of every website you visit is created. Privacy Mantra will clean the history index.dat file as well. Read about the History index.dat.

Manual clean instructions

1. This does *NOT* clean the index.dat files.
a. Click ‘Tools’ in the Internet Explorer menu bar.
b. Choose ‘Internet Options’.
c. In the ‘General’ tab in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section, click ”Clear History’.
d. Click ‘Ok’.
e. Click ‘Ok’.

2. Delete all the values except (’Default’) in the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
