Working on Cactus Spam Filter

Just wanted to let you know that I am currently going through the bug archive to fix for Cactus Spam Filter 3.01.

Bugs on the list:
- Problem when creating messages
- Problem when enumerating processes and low on system resources
- Outlook sometimes crashes when started
- dllassertions.txt growing very big and consuming disk space
- corrupted xml config files
- Problems running Cactus Spam Filter with malwarebytes

Some other things I may look at:
- Continuous removal of files in training area (so it doesn’t grow too big)
- Support for 64-bit mail clients

Thanks to everyone who has reported errors, I am sorry I haven’t had time to reply to you all.

    Hi Trish,

Sorry for not answering earlier, I am getting a lot of emails and I read everyone and file appropriate as bugs.

I am currently working on a new version (3.01) that will include a fix that continuously cleans up email so the training arena doesn’t get flooded and take ages to open.

I plan to release it on Monday, please check back then!

    Sorry about this.

    Best regards,

    Jon

My file titled Spam within my Deleted file vanished and after recreating it spam emails are still identified but remain in the Inbox.
    I use OE6 & IE7 & XP.

Is there any way to move the Cactus Spam filter data from one PC to another? I have been training Cactus Spam for a few years and hate to have to go through all that again on a ‘new’ PC.

    Thanks.

    Hello Cactus team!

I’ve been using cactus for about a week and I love it. Is there a way that I can find out what or how to add emails to the training area from my pop peeper to extensively erase all the of the spam that I have?
